The 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward averaged 20.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as a junior at St. Augustine, helping the Saints go 28-5 and win a section title.
Cherry is pegged as the No. 39 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 by
247Sports. He chose USC over offers from programs like Arizona, Gonzaga, Kansas, Oregon and UCLA.
