Video: Dante Rogers pulls off insane pick-six
Central Square senior just refused to go down and completed the touchdown.
Wait, how in the world did that happen?
Dante Rogers of
Central Square (N.Y.) pulled off one of those special pick-six plays Friday that makes everyone who sees it scratch their head in bewilderment.
The 6-foot-1, 160-pound senior safety read the Carthage quarterback and made an interception at his own 10-yard line. Rogers darted up the right sideline and then things got interesting. He appeared to be tackled near midfield - but nope. He somehow spun out of three tackles while nearly touching the ground. Houdini-like.
Rogers then dashed home to complete the crazy 90-yard touchdown. He lifted Central Square over Carthage 38-16 and helped the Redhawks claim their first win of the season.
