American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) defeated Clay (Green Cove Springs, Fla.) 66-8 while riding the arm of
Torrance Gibson, who tossed six touchdown passes.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Patriots led 40-0 at the half.
American Heritage expanded its lead to 59 points entering the fourth quarter. AH scored three times in the third, including once on a kick return.
The Plantation school scored 12 points on special teams on the way to the victory.
Clay's only touchdown came on a 35-yard run by Wes Weeks in the fourth quarter.
The Patriots had given up an average of 15.0 points prior to the contest. The eight points that the Blue Devils ended with were well below their average of 32.8 coming into the game.
The loss comes after Clay defeated Lakewood 40-38 last week.
