MaxPreps is pleased to announce that the
Perrysburg Yellowjackets have officially been named to the 2nd Annual MaxPreps Soccer Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard.
This exclusive honor is reserved for only 20 of the best teams in the entire country. Given the fact that 32,000 varsity teams compete, that puts the Yellowjackets ahead of 99.9 percent of their opponents!
In order to be eligible, the team not only had to be nationally ranked, but also had to win a state championship. Beating Ashland 7-0 on Oct. 27 marked the completion of an incredible 16-0 season — and earned Perrysburg an invitation to the Tour of Champions.
Please join us as we celebrate with the girls soccer team, coaching staff, students and fans on Jan. 18, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym between the girls and boys basketball games.
