Notable team achievements: Jacksonville has advanced to eight consecutive NCHSAA 3A East Regional finals, won five straight conference titles and made four trips to the state championship game under Miller. In last season's NCHSAA final, the Cardinals rallied from a goal down despite playing with just 10 men, and won the game in overtime.
