South Fayette (McDonald, Pa.) defeated
Brockway (Brockway, Pa.), 62-28, during a Class AA state quarterfinal football playoff headliner on Friday.
Entering the next playoff round, Brumbaugh has passed for 3,255 yards and 44 touchdowns this year, according to the Harrisburg Patriot News.

Derek Buganza had a big night in a losing effort as he passed for 340 yards, enabling him also to surpass the 3,000-yard mark (3,005) this year.
Buganza is believed to be the first quarterback in Pennsylvania history to pass for over 3,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. His finished his outstanding career with 9,752 yards.
