There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. The action last week included a one-point thriller between Milford and Woodbridge.
Can't Touch This
William Penn's 12 - 7 win over Sussex Central last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Isaiah Gaynor. Gaynor ran for 115 yards and also punched in one touchdown. That performance made Gaynor one of the best players in the power rankings last week.
No Stoppin 'Em
DuPont brought the heat last game after its low-scoring effort (two points) in the match before. It took its game by a score of 36 - 28. It found its leader in an underclassman: Thomas Mosley earned two touchdowns and 93 yards rushing the ball, which was enough to make him one of the team's best players. The combined 64 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.
Movin on Up
Milford will have a better view of things this week after its strong showing last week propelled it five spots up the power rankings. That was the biggest rise of the week. It won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Woodbridge 24 - 23. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Milford after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
It was another outing, another win last week for the team with the longest stretch of success (nine consecutive games). Delmar blew past Delaware Military Academy 34 - 13. The win raised Delmar up two spots in the power rankings.
