The Mascoutah Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Edwardsville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mascoutah is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Mascoutah pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-56 to Marion.
Meanwhile, Edwardsville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-43 to Granite City. Edwardsville has not had much luck with Granite City recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Mascoutah's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Edwardsville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Mascoutah couldn't quite finish off Edwardsville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 and fell 51-48. Can Mascoutah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
