1. East Greenwich2014 record: 21-2
Head coach: Robert Petrucci
The defending Division II state champions had to win two games, beating West Warwick 4-0 and 3-2, to take the title. The Avengers lost ace pitcher Becca Black but return Cora Geunes, who made 10 appearances last season. Geunes also hit a blistering .455. Other top hitters returning are Emily Rhodes (.321) and Sarah Gavin (.303).

2. North Kingstown2014 record: 24-0
Head coach: Rick Powell
The Skippers outscored opponents 195-21 last year, including an 8-2 win over Smithfield in the finals. The Skippers carry seven seniors on a 15-person roster, including shortstop Natalie Wirth. Pitchers on the team are sophomore Kiara Oliver, who also plays first base, and senior Rachel Kantor, who also plays second.

Head coach: Anthony Torregrossa
Sophomore pitcher Megan Long leads the Tigers, who lost in the state finals to North Kingstown. She hopes to get more help from her outfield, which Torregrossa called "the best outfield I've seen in a long time." That outfield was made up of Juliana Romeo, Abbi Cook and Analise England.

4. Narragansett2014 record: 18-1
Head coach: Dean Healey
The Mariners outscored opponents 187-57 last year and were one of the highest scoring teams in the state. They won the state Division III state title with a 2-0 win over Joanita Sanchez/Rocky Hill.

West Warwick reached the state Division II state finals, but lost twice to East Greenwich 4-0 and 3-2. West Warwick reached the championship round by beating East Greenwich 4-0.
