It was a rough weekend for New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, who suffered a knee injury in a preseason game Friday and is expected to be out for an extended period. But perhaps he took some comfort in seeing younger brother
Isaac Wilson debut as the starting quarterback at his former high school
Corner Canyon (Draper, Utah) and shine in a season-opening win.
During a 45-7 thumping of Herriman on Friday night, Isaac completed 21 of 30 pass attempts for 450 yards and six touchdowns. Among the highlights was a 95-yard scoring strike to
Tate Kjar, who had a monster night of his own with eight receptions for 206 yards and two TDs.

Wilson, listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds, played sparingly as a sophomore behind Ohio State signee Devin Brown, who threw for 4,881 yards and 57 touchdowns last fall.
Corner Canyon is looking to re-establish itself as the dominant force in Utah high school football this season. The Chargers won state championships in 2018, 2019 and 2020, but fell in last year's Class 6A title game to Lone Peak. Now in his sixth season as the program's head coach, Eric Kjar has piled up an incredible record of 66-3.
