The defending AAAAA state champions lost to small-school power Buford 38-14 last week with Watson completing 22 of 42 passes for 193 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for 68 yards on 18 carries and no scores. He has completed 49 of 83 passes for 576 yards and five touchdowns this year. The state's all-time passing leader unofficially needs just 74 yards to surpass the 10,000-yard milestone this week against Winder-Barrow.
