Outlook:
Del Oro returns to the state championship two years after losing to
Bakersfield in a state championship game. The Golden Eagles have
suffered six losses on the season, but fought back through the
Sac-Joaquin Division II playoffs to qualify for the regional bowl
championships. Camarillo is one of the few unbeaten teams left in the
state and it has one of the better offenses in the state finals.
Camarillo looms as the heavy favorite as it is ranked No. 41 in the
nation, compared to Del Oro at 195.

Camarillo celebrated a Southern Section Northern Division title.
