Five-star Texas Longhorns commit
Landen Williams-Callis needed two quarters of Thursday's game to rack up season-highs in rushing yards and touchdowns.
Williams-Callis broke free for a 33-yard score on his second touch of the Lions' opening drive to give Randle an early 8-0 lead. He followed with scoring runs of 12, 9, 62 and 49 yards, giving him five rushing touchdowns in consecutive games. He sat out in the second half as Randle held a 56-0 lead at halftime.

The 2025 MaxPreps Texas Player of the Year and a first-team All-American selection, he posted 3,502 rushing yards and 59 touchdowns while leading Randle to the UIL Conference 5A Division 2 state title game. He ran for more than 200 yards 10 times as a junior, including a 342-yard performance last September.
Williams-Callis is rated by 247Sports as the No. 3 running back and the No. 38 overall player in his class. He committed to Texas in August over programs such as Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Miami and other programs.
He entered this season with 7,554 career rushing yards, needing 3,829 to break the state record.

Mt. Enterprise set the mark last season with 11,382 yards. Wiliams-Callis recently broke the greater-Houston area career touchdown record, passing his cousin
Jaquizz Rodgers.
After Thursday's performance, he sits at 137 career touchdowns and 8,392 rushing yards, which also passes Rodgers' totals from his days at
Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg) from 2004-07.
Williams-Callis opened the 2026 season with a 230-yard performance with two scores in a 20-14 get-back victory over
South Oak Cliff (Dallas), the team that dealt them a state-championship loss a year ago. He followed with 147 yards on 32 carries in a 3-0 win over
Westfield (Houston) and 227 yards and five scores in a 69-14 win over
Victoria East (Victoria).
The Lions' 91 points set a single-game record for the program. Randle, which opened in 2021, scored 83 points against
Bastrop in the UIL playoffs last November. Randle travels to
South Houston next Thursday.
