The Buccaneers were perfect in winning their second straight Class A state title, capping it off with a 60-54 win over Grosse Pointe South in the title game. They lose all-state performers in Abby Cole and Hannah Wilkerson, but senior
Taylor Craymer (6-0, F) will make sure the Bucs are in the thick of it once again.
2. Grosse Pointe South2012-13 record: 24-2
Head coach: Kevin Richards
The Blue Devils lost to Grand Haven in the Class A state title game, and will look for redemption this year with All-State performer
Cierra Rice (5-8, G) returning for her junior season. Richards will have to find scoring to replace Claire Deboer, but Grosse Pointe South should be the favorite if Grand Haven takes a step back.
3. King (Detroit)2012-13 record: 21-1
Head coach: William Winfield
The Crusaders lost to Glenn (Westland) in the Class A quarterfinals, but return strong with 6-3 DePaul commit
Marte' Grays. She will have to pick up the slack for the departure of Antania Hayes, but expect King to be strong once again.

Glenn lost to Grand Haven in the Class A semifinals and lost disruptive guard Raven Bankston, who had 23 points and 11 steals in the semifinal loss, to graduation. But with the return of six players, including starter
India Glaspie-Perdue, the Rockets will be right there again this season.
5. Goodrich2012-13 record: 25-3

Goodrich loses All-State performer Taylor Glesason, but should be strong once again thanks to the return of one of the top point guards in the state, 5-foot-4 junior
