Ben Davis finally found the end zone in the third quarter, when quarterback Matt Brock scored on a 5-yard run to narrow the deficit to 21-7.
The comeback attempt continued when Warren Central sailed a snap over its punter's head into the end zone. Ben Davis recovered, making it 21-14.
Following a
Kyle Faunce touchdown run, Davis answered again, this time on a Lamont Osborn 11-yard touchdown run, closing the gap to 27-21.
Davis had one more chance, getting the ball back after stopping Warren Central with less than five minutes to play. However, it was unable to convert on 4th-and-11 inside Warren Central territory.
