1. Wheeler (Marietta)
2013-14 finish: 28-6, Class AAAAAA state runner-up
Head coach: Doug Lipscomb

247Sports Composite No. 2 prospect Jaylen Brown (6-6, Sr., G) hopes to finish his career with a state title. He will be joined by transfer Shembari Phillips (6-4, Sr., G, Tennessee verbal commit) in Wheeler's quest for a fifth state crown since 2000. The Wildcats will take on a national schedule, including an appearance in the prestigious City of Palms Classic in December.

2. St. Francis (Alpharetta)
2013-14 finish: 26-7, Class A state champion
Head coach: Drew Catlett

Catlett will be working with a wealth of talent in his first season as head coach at St. Francis. Three seniors are committed to Division I programs in Malik Beasley (6-3, G, Florida State), Josh Coleman (6-9, F/C, Coastal Carolina) and Kaiser Gates (6-8, F, Xavier). Then there is star junior Kobi Jordan-Simmons (6-5, G), who is being pursued by the likes of Kansas and Kentucky.

3. Miller Grove (Lithonia)
2013-14 finish: 28-5, Class AAAAA state champion
Head coach: Sharman White

Can anybody stop the Wolverines? Under head coach Sharman White, Miller Grove has won six state titles in a row and will be favored to do it again behind key returnees Alterique Gilbert (5-11, Jr., G), Raylon Richardson (6-5, Jr., F) and Gamaun Boykins (6-1, Sr., G).

4. Jonesboro
2013-14 finish: 29-6, Class AAAA state champion
Head coach: Dan Maehlman

Jonesboro's top four scorers are back, including super sophomore James Walker Jr. The 6-5 wing was a MaxPreps Freshman All-American last winter and led the Cardinals in scoring at 15.8 points per game. Senior Austin Donaldson (6-1, G) is a recent Chattanooga pledge.

5. Pebblebrook (Mableton)
2013-14 finish: 24-6, Class AAAAAA semifinalist
Head coach: George Washington

Eight of Pebblebrook's nine regulars from 2013-14 are back, including Clemson commit Ty Hudson (6-2, Sr., G). The future Tiger averaged 17.9 points and 4.5 assists per outing as a junior. Trhae Mitchell (6-5, Sr., G/F) is also back after contributing 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game a year ago.
