The competition can't stop, won't stop — and it is heating up in Indiana.
2014's Mr. Basketball in Indiana is a three-way race between

Park Tudor's 2A classification might hinder Bluiett's chances at Mr. Basketball, but that is the only thing close to stopping the 6-foot-6, 205-pound senior during his high school career.
As a freshman, Bluiett not only led Park Tudor in scoring during the
state championship game, but he also knocked down the game-winning shot. He
followed that up as a sophomore by scoring a team-high 25 points in the state
championship game victory.
These back-to-back 2A state titles came alongside teammate
Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell, who ended up losing a very close race for the 2012 Mr. Basketball award to 4A
Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.) standout guard
Gary Harris.
In January Bluiett surpassed Ferrell as the school's all-time scoring leader. Ferrell scored 1,856 in his four-year career. Through 20 games into his senior year, Bluiett sits at 2,300 career points, 11th all-time in state history.
Other resume builders include four straight conference titles while leading Park Tudor to a Marion County Tournament championship the past two years, and individual accolades such as being named a
MaxPreps Junior All-American after posting 27.8 points per game and leading the Panthers to a 21-3 record last season.
The Xavier commit is the No. 43 overall recruit according to
247sports. This season he is averaging 36.5 points through 20 games while leading the Panthers with 11.8 rebounds
per game. A highlight to the season for Bluiett was his 51 points scored against Lyles and his Arsenal Tech teammates during a
95-88 overtime loss.
Park Tudor received a bye for the first round in the 2A Broad Ripple
sectional and will face the winner of
Heritage Christian (Indianapolis) and
Indianapolis Shortridge on
Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m.
