We are finally in New Jersey, and tomorrow will be the start of our crazy week. With all the interviews, pre-game setup and sightseeing, Mike and I will have our hands full. Before all that happens, we thought we would stop by a friend of Mike's and get some nice homemade food. Delia Gonzales and the rest of her family are great and opened up their house to Mike and me. Mother Gonzales prepared homemade Mexican fajitas while Papa Gonzales talked football and checked out the RV. Now we are about to watch some movies and start to look forward to nice warm house to sleep in. In the morning we will be waking up to a great Pinto Gallo breakfast and wash ourselves in a pressurized shower.
Towards the football side of things, Don Bosco Prep (7-0) plays Bergen Catholic (5-2) this week in a game that pits the #1 team of New Jersey against the 16 time state champions. Matt Simms and Justin Trattou will lead the undefeated Ironmen into battle against Dean Scaduto and Jadd Schmeltzer of the Crusaders. Talent is going to be in abundance, fans will be loud, and Mike and I will be right in the mix of things for all you MaxPreps fans out there.
Question of the day:
What area in the US do you think has, and spits out the most talent on a yearly basis?
