Eleva-Strum advances to D5 state final
Eleva-Strum rolled past
Fall River 70-54 to advance to the Division 5 state championship game on Saturday.
The Cardinals (29-0) held a 36-23 lead at the break and led by as many as 21 in the victory.
Five players scored in double figures, paced by junior
Avery Glenz, who finished with 19 points. Other notable contributors include junior
Maddea Brown and senior
Aliza Kulig, who tallied 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Fall River was led by senior
Natalie Fietz, who finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Eleva-Strum, in search of its first gold ball in team history, will meet Pacelli in the Division 5 state final on Saturday at 11:05 a.m.

The Cardinals led 23-20 at the break and closed out the game with great ball movement and timely free throw shooting.
Senior
Ella Van Order led the Pacelli scoring attack with 25 points and added seven rebounds and four assists.
Another top performer was junior
Jaedyn Zdroik, who finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Barneveld, which finishes the year with a 22-8 record, was paced by senior
Izabel Durst, who scored 19 points.
Pacelli will play undefeated Eleva-Strum in the state championship game; both squads are in search of their first gold ball in program history.
