* Tanner Holden, Wheelersburg, 6-6, 180 (2019)
Two-sport sensation that excels in football and basketball. Was first team OPSWA All-Ohio in both sports. Helped Burg win a D-V state title in the fall by catching the game-winning touchdown pass in OT from Xander Carmichael on an 11-yard jump pass on fourth-and-one.  Was a finalist for the 2017 OPSWA Mr. Football Award and was the D-V state offensive player of the year (87 receptions for 1,534 yards and 21 touchdowns). Has visited Ohio State. Averaged 17.6 points in basketball where he holds offers from Ohio, Akron, Toledo, Cleveland State and Marshall. Had 35 points and 12 rebounds in a D-III regional semifinal loss to Harvest Prep. Unique talent. 

* Nick Tangeman, Marion Local (Maria Stein), 6-4, 180 (2019)
First team All-Midwest Athletic Conference.  Had 26 catches for 594 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season for the D-VI state champions. Averaged 22.8 yards per catch. Caught six passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the Flyers 34-11 state final win over Kirtland.

* Jacob Wenning, Coldwater, 6-1, 170 (2019)
Second team D-VI OPSWA All-Ohio and first team All-Midwest Athletic Conference.  Caught 50 passes for 862 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Cavaliers who finished regional runner-up to Marion Local.

2017 Ohio HS Football Statewide Postseason Brackets

* Ivan Percy Sr., Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights), 5-9, 180 (2019)
Second team D-VI OPSWA All-Ohio receiver caught 34 passes for 623 yards and 11 touchdowns.

* Charlie Bertemes, Southeastern Local (South Charleston), 6-2, 170 (2019)
First Team D-VII OPSWA All-Ohio receiver hauled in 62 receptions for 947 yards and 14 touchdowns. Also caught seven two-point conversion receptions. First team Ohio Heritage Conference South Division selection (third in overall voting).

* Joey Mascadri, Mechanicsburg, 5-11, 175 (2019)
Recognized last year as a second team D-VI OPSWA All-Ohio defensive back. Shined on offense too. Caught 29 passes for 628 yards and six touchdowns and ran for 465 yards and eight touchdowns on 74 carries. Completed only pass for a touchdown. Defensively, led team with 73 total tackles (including 33 solo). Also registered 3.5 tackles for loss, five passes broken up, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown).

* Corbin Hazen, Danville, 6-1, 197 (2019)
Second team D-VII OPSWA All-Ohio receiver caught 45 passes for 733 yards and four touchdowns for the D-VII state semifinalist Devils.

* Hunter Muir, Ansonia, 6-4, 175 (2019)
Two-sport star was first team All-Cross County Conference in both football and basketball. Caught 28 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns last year en route to earning third team D-VII OPSWA All-Ohio honors at receiver. Was also first team All-CCC in basketball as a sophomore.

Second team D-VII OPSWA All-Ohio tight end caught 26 passes for 852 yards and nine touchdowns last year. Led the Mid-Buckeye Conference in receiving.

* Mason Mollohan, Mt. Gilead, 6-5, 210 (2019)
First team D-V OPSWA All-Ohio tight end had 50 catches for 850 yards and 10 touchdowns last year.
