With a 31-21 win over Wayne (Huber Heights) in the Ohio Division I state championship game, St. Edward (Lakewood) solidified its place atop the MaxPreps Midwest Region Computer Football Rankings.
Since all Midwestern states have completed their season, St. Edward finishes the season as the No. 1 team. La Salle (Cincinnati), the Division II champion in Ohio, finishes at No. 2 while Wayne is No. 3.
