Central (Phenix City, Ala.) made flag football history Tuesday with its 60th consecutive win.
Ranked No. 2 nationally by MaxPreps, Central extended what is believed to be the longest winning streak in flag football history with a 63-0 victory over
JAG (Montgomery).
The three-time defending state champions have spent the past three-plus seasons overwhelming opponents on both sides of the ball. Central has posted 40 shutouts during the 60-game stretch, including 16 during last year's 20-0 campaign that ended with another state title and No. 2 national ranking.
Central finished No. 1 in 2024 and No. 6 in 2023 while winning state championships each season.

According to MaxPreps archives, Central hasn't lost since a 26-18 setback against
Vestavia Hills on Sept. 28, 2022.

Mariah Harrison, and has completed 30 of 45 passes for 516 yards and eight touchdowns through two games.

Central also features seventh grader
Kinley Rasmus, who gained national attention this summer during Phenix City's run at the Little League World Series.
The Red Devils will take their act on the road next week when they head west for the inaugural MaxPreps Flag Football Showdown in San Diego, Calif., on Sept. 11–12.
