Highland extended their home winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Camryn Thruston. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Higley Knights on Thursday with plenty of help from Thruston, who had 21 digs and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Highland walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 17-25, 25-23.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 25-9. As for Higley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12-3.
