Last Friday, St. Xavier beat Trinity Catholic 21-8. 21 seems to be a good number for St. Xavier as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
St. Xavier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steven Napier, who rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jacob Britt, who rushed for 124 yards on only 14 carries.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Springboro were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 21-9 to Miamisburg.
St. Xavier's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Springboro, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
