Jacob Hardin put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

Hardin's strong effort led South Lyon over Walled Lake Western and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
