On Tuesday, Rise University Prep ended up a good deal behind San Francisco Waldorf and lost 55-37. Rise University Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Rise University Prep still got an impressive performance from Marcus Cage, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Hillman III, who scored 7 points.
Miles MacDonald was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points for San Francisco Waldorf. That makes it six consecutive games in which MacDonald has scored at least 25% of San Francisco Waldorf's points. Elango Ketheesan was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Rise University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for San Francisco Waldorf, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Rise University Prep will look to defend their home court on Thursday against KIPP SF College Prep at 5:30 p.m. As for San Francisco Waldorf, they will head out on the road to face off against College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th.
