Given Trinity Collegiate's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Lake View is ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Landon Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Evan Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Lake View lost, one person who can't be blamed is DJ Hardee. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points.
Trinity Collegiate now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lake View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Trinity Collegiate will square off against Lugoff-Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lugoff-Elgin is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Lake View, they will be playing at home against Dillon Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dillon Christian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
