Nate Hill Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Miller got the W thanks in part to Nate Hill playing the best football he has all season. Hill rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 105 yards on eight of 13 attempts, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Hill has averaged 131.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.86 passing yards per game.

Marionville's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Guerin and Marionville will take on Ash Grove on Friday.

Caden Calvin Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Miller got the W thanks in part to Caden Calvin playing the best football he has all season. Calvin rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.
This year, Calvin has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 48.1 rushing yards per game.

Jarod Lung's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Miller was led to victory by Jarod Lung, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lung rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Lung has averaged 49.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 12 receiving yards per game.

Marionville picked up their 21st consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cash Pomeroy. Nobody could stop Pomeroy as he rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Pomeroy has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 131.7 rushing yards per game.
