The North Salinas Vikings had a rough season last year, but theylook ready to turn that poor record around this year. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-20 victory over Rancho San Juan. The result was nothing new for North Salinas, who have now won seven matches by 32 points or more so far this season.
Kai Ceralde looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 157 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes. Bradley Moyer also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.
North Salinas' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points per game. As for Rancho San Juan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Coincidentally, North Salinas and Rancho San Juan will both be playing Alisal the next time they take the field. North Salinas will host Alisal at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Rancho San Juan will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
