The Nova Titans will face off against the Flanagan Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Nova is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Dr. Krop with a sharp 8-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.
Cody Boisvert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Angelo Rivas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Cody Kunca was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Flanagan made sure to put some runs up on the board against South Broward on Tuesday. The Falcons blew past the Bulldogs 11-1. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Hayden Welsh looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Flanagan is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-14 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Flanagan let Miguel Colmenares and Caden Corzo run wild. Colmenares went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double, while Corzo went a perfect 1-for-1 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that Corzo hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Roberts, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Flanagan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Nova's record is now 13-10. As for Flanagan, their record now sits at 11-15.
Nova's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's match. The Titans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Flanagan, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Nova continue to outrun the ball?
Nova might still be hurting after the 8-2 defeat they got from Flanagan in their previous meeting on Wednesday. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
