Coral Park gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Southridge Spartans by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Southridge is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Coral Park and American will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southridge, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South Dade at 5:30 p.m.
