The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Land O' Lakes 74-50. The score was close at the half, but Wiregrass Ranch pulled away in the second half with 41 points.
It was another big night for Kyden Wiley, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Preston Linville, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Land O' Lakes' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maxwell Moore, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and two steals. Jaydn Murria was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Even though they lost, Land O' Lakes were working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Wiregrass Ranch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Land O' Lakes, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wiregrass Ranch will take on Bradenton Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Land O' Lakes, they will stay at home for another game and welcome East Lake at 7:45 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully East Lake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
