Kearney Catholic is 7-0 against Holdrege since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Kearney Catholic Stars will head out on the road to  face off against  the Holdrege Dusters at 6:00  p.m. Hopefully Kearney Catholic focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 on Thursday.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Kearney Catholic gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They really took it to Lexington for the full four quarters, racking up a  46-14 victory on the road. That looming  46-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kearney Catholic yet this  season.
  Callie Squiers continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 14 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Londyn Carnes, who  scored seven points along with four  steals.
 Holdrege suffered their biggest  defeat yet this season on Friday. Their  tough  46-21 defeat to Southern Valley  might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Holdrege can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings  (they are ranked 85th, while Southern Valley is ranked 14th).
 Kearney Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Holdrege, their loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-6.
 Kearney Catholic beat Holdrege 35-22  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kearney Catholic since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
