The Teays Valley Vikings came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 47-43 W over Amanda-Clearcreek. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Teays Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Teays Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabrielle Watkins, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Younkin, who scored ten points.
Teays Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.
Teays Valley will head out on the road to challenge Bloom-Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bloom-Carroll will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Teays Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
