They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 49-8 win over Dobson. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-8.
Luke Moga continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 273 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Moga is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Mack Kump was another key contributor, picking up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sunnyslope's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points per game. As for Dobson, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunnyslope will take on Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games. As for Dobson, they will head out on the road to face off against McClintock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
