With a playoff win on the line, Pee Dee Academy rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Golden Eagles have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Pee Dee Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-7-1. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.
