The Braddock Bulldogs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 56-42 victory over TERRA Environmental. That's another feather in the cap for Braddock, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Elsa Stier continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. The matchup was her 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Yvonne Jebian , who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, TERRA Environmental still got an impressive performance from Shannon Greene, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. Greene continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Francesca Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Braddock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for TERRA Environmental, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Braddock will finish 2023 at home by hosting Coral Reef at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Mater Academy Charter at 3:30 p.m. on December 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Mater Academy Charter is ranked 372nd, while TERRA Environmental is ranked 387th).
