The McAdams Bulldogs were the 76-67 winner over the Choctaw County Chargers when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. McAdams fell just short of Choctaw County by a score of 56-53. It was the first time this season that McAdams let down their fans at home.
Choctaw County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Cunningham out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Cunningham's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jakarius Weaver, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
McAdams' defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Choctaw County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
McAdams will be playing in front of their home fans against Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Philadelphia and McAdams are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. Choctaw County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Noxapater at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Noxapater is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
