Southern Prep Academy has struggled against Springwood recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Daniel Westbrook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Springwood, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Westbrook has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Johnathan Hinton was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Southern Prep Academy's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Springwood, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.
