It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the California Condors can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 84-62 walloping at the hands of the Rattlers on Friday. California was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-24.
California's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenny Renfrow, who scored 11 points. Renfrow continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Josh Linares was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
California's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Rancho Mirage, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.
California does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rancho Mirage is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Northview at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Rancho Mirage has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 286 points over their last four matches.
