The Mount de Sales Academy Sailors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Concordia Prep 58-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mount de Sales Academy.
Mount de Sales Academy's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cameron Weeks, who scored three points along with 20 steals. Those 20 steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Lewis, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Mount de Sales Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Concordia Prep, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-7 record last season and are now at 4-9.
Mount de Sales Academy will head out on the road to face off against Indian Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Concordia Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. Notre Dame Prep and Concordia Prep are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
