On Friday Sutherland take on Hemingford at 2:00 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Sutherland made easy work of Bayard last Friday and carried off a 46-14 victory. Junior Connor Floyd, who, was a major factor in Sutherland's success.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game three weeks ago against Burwell, Hemingford were happy to find some success. Hemingford took their contest against Kimball by a conclusive 46-20 score. The win was a breath of fresh air for Hemingford as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Hemingford to 1-3 and Sutherland to 3-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
