The Camden Central Lions lost against the Huntingdon Mustangs back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Camden Central was outmatched by Huntingdon at home and fell 61-13. Camden Central has struggled against Huntingdon recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Gray Eubanks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Huntingdon, rushing for 134 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Eubanks is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Warbritton, who rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Huntingdon's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Tayshawn Rivers and Clayton Pelonero who racked up four sacks between them.
Camden Central now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Huntingdon, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Camden Central will head out on the road to face off against Adamsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Huntingdon, they will be playing at home against Peabody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peabody is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
