Baseball Recap: Samuel Fels Takes a Loss

Samuel Fels was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Dean Paulino made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Samuel Fels is 3-1 when Paulino posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Saul Rodriguez-Perez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Samuel Fels' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Samuel Fels is set to face off against their familiar foe Central at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Academy Charter will square off against rival Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
