The Tate Aggies will head out to challenge the Crestview Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tate's defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so Crestview's offense will have their work cut out for them.
While Tate's victory against Booker T. Washington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aggies skirted past the Wildcats 24-21. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Tate found their leader in sophomore Tanner Clark, who rushed for 151 yards and three scores. The Aggies are undefeated when Clark posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Tate also got a significant boost from Ethan Pittman, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tate's defense and their five sacks. Brody White was especially locked on to Booker T. Washington's QB and sacked him twice. White is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last six games he's played.
Meanwhile, Crestview didn't have too much trouble with Escambia on Friday as they won 21-6.
Tate better keep an eye on Manwell Robinson. He was instrumental in Crestview's win, rushing for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Those 128 rushing yards gave Robinson a new career-high. Che'Shon Cobb was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and one TD on only nine carries.
Crestview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Tate's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Crestview, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Tate has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 180.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Crestview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 205.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Tate took their win against Crestview in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 54-30 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aggies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
