The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. Everything went their way against St. Anne Catholic as NorthPoint Christian Academy made off with a 55-33 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for NorthPoint Christian Academy.
NorthPoint Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Talan Pollack out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 22 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pollack has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Micah Enriquez, who scored ten points along with five steals.
St. Anne Catholic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Edward G., who scored ten points. Jack J. was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
NorthPoint Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for St. Anne Catholic, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-3.
NorthPoint Christian Academy will take on St. Anne Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anne Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against NorthPoint Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully NorthPoint Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
