The Ingraham Rams's five-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They skirted past Chief Sealth 55-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ingraham also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Chief Sealth lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brandon Washington, who scored nine points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of James Mcallister, who scored 14 points.
Ingraham's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Chief Sealth, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ingraham will take on Lakeside at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside and Ingraham are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Chief Sealth, they will play host again and welcome Lincoln, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-3 during that stretch of close contests.
