Bennett's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Zakai Smullen, who scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds, and Jace Hudson, who scored 19 points along with nine steals. Hudson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Darion Collins was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Arcadia only won by two when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point they dealt Denbigh Baptist Christian on Thursday. Arcadia really took it to Denbigh Baptist Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-34 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Arcadia has posted since December 12, 2023.
Bennett pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game.
