Santa Gertrudis Academy has not had much luck with Alice recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Santa Gertrudis Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Julie Montalvo, who scored 15 points. Montalvo scored a full 41.7% of Santa Gertrudis Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Mikyela Munoz was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Santa Gertrudis Academy has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 4-8 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for Alice, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Santa Gertrudis Academy will play host again and welcome Refugio, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alice is on the road again on Thursday and play against Brackenridge at 10:00 a.m. on November 30th.
