Baseball Recap: North Point Makes It Four in a Row at Home

North Point won against Fort Zumwalt East on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Grizzlies beat the Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

North Point pushed their record up to 19-7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.

North Point will welcome St. Charles at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they will head out on the road to square off against Troy-Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
